Board of Directors The activities of CWDC are facilitated by our diverse and dedicated board of directors. They provide fiduciary oversight, guide program planning, and contribute hours of work directly implementing performances and other CWDC events. President Hjordis Trygg Bjorklund is an escrow officer with First American Title Insurance Company and is going on her sixth year working in commercial real estate. Before her current endeavors she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance from the University of Minnesota and performed for a few years with the Christopher Watson Dance Company and Ressl Dance! In addition to performing, she taught dance to children at several studios in the metro area. Now Hjordis wishes to contribute to the dance community through working with the CWDC board. Vice President Jean W. Thiel is a paralegal in Faegre & Benson LLP's real estate practice group and has been engaged in commercial property management since 1988. Jean serves as a community volunteer on the Southwest High School Leadership Council. In addition, she is a member of the Commercial Business/Commercial Property Committee of the Linden Hills Neighborhood Council and the Linden Hills Neighborhood Revitalization Program Phase II Business Development Task Force. Board Secretary/Treasurer Alison Neumann works as an administrator in the commercial real estate industry. In addition, Alison is a volunteer at the Chrysalis Center. Her other interests include music and a new-found passion for dance. Currently she is learning to play the banjo and tap dance. Alison is the newest member of the CWDC board and has jumped right in, taking over management of the company mailing list, providing oversight for finances, and assisting with performances. Raymond Terrill is a producer, working on the development of interactive e-learning training programs, interactive kiosks, promotional sales CD-ROMs, business-to-business web sites and broadband applications. A resident of Minnesota since 1994, Raymond was executive director of the Dance Coalition of Oregon from 1993-96 and has been active as a dancer, choreographer, teacher and presenter of dance for a number of years. Christopher Watson has been dancing and choreographing professionally since receiving his Master of Fine Arts in dance from the University of Michigan in 1978. He trained at the Cunningham Studio and Joffrey Ballet School in New York and has danced with companies in Chicago, New York, Detroit, Minneapolis, Sacramento and San Francisco. Board Alumni CWDC is thankful for the contributions made by former board members, all of whom have donated time and monetary support to CWDC throughout the years.
